Hilton College got the better of AP Dragons from Pacific Islands on the second day of the Oakland World Schools Festival in Paarl on Wednesday 4 April. AP Dragons, who are coached by Bok Legend Victor Matfield, fell short in their 35-24 defeat against the team from KwaZulu-Natal.

Made up of schoolboys from Samoa, Tonga and Fiji, and local players, the Dragons were the first international team to take a lead in any of the matches so far during the tournament.

Despite scoring the same amount of tries, it was the educated boot of Hilton College’s Gareth Schreuder that provided the edge for the South African team.
